It's difficult for the Australian squad to break new ground.

That it took until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, taking back their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the last half-century.

It's difficult for their batters to possess a record if not provided the chance.

When she was dismissed the team needed 66 more at a run-a-ball - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the belief to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to repeat it but, should it happen, we know we can do it."

These statements will be the last competing nations at this tournament want to hear.

In recent days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this victory following success over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.
